Al Brodeur’s Auto Body is family owned and operated since 1970

Al Brodeur'sAl Brodeur opened his first location in a small rented space; just a stones throw from our beautiful 6000 square foot facility we now call home.

We have over 150 years of combined experience in collision repair. All of our technicians are I-CAR certified, and our refinish technicians are DuPont certified sprayers of our premier waterborne paint system, Cromax Pro.

Our staff is our work family. We value our employees and are committed to making Al Brodeur’s Auto Body a great place to work! We have created an environment where everyone plays an important role in our team. Keeping our focus on nurturing that ideology has helped us retain the best technicians and staff in the Industry.

Al Brodeur – Owner/President

Al began working as an auto body technician at age 18. He realized very quickly that he wanted to open his own auto body repair shop. He proudly hung his hand painted sign in the window of his first rented space in March of 1970; he was just 19 years old. Early on, Al understood the importance of becoming actively involved in the Auto Repair Industry. He has been a member of Central Mass Auto Rebuilders (CMARA), Massachusetts Auto Body Association (MABA) and the Automotive Alliance of Service Providers (AASP) for over 25 years.

Al served on the board of directors and was acting treasurer for CMARA for the better part of his tenure in the Industry. He is currently a board member of the Mid-State Chapter of the newly formed Automotive Alliance of Service Providers Massachusetts (AASP-MA). Al believes that educating and training young technicians is vital, especially as vehicles become more complex and the repair process more modernized. Al has supported and served as a Director for the auto collision repair program at Assabet Valley Regional Technical High School for over 20 years. First and foremost, he is a loving husband, father and grandfather with hobbies such as golf, home improvement projects, sports, talk radio and politics.

Molly Brodeur – Chief Operating Officer

Molly graduated magna cum laude from Becker College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. She began working for the shop in 2006, after a long stint working as a producer for WBZ Newsradio. Molly has become very active in the Auto Body Industry and serves as Treasurer for the statewide Automotive Alliance of Service Providers of Massachusetts (AASP-MA). She has been asked to speak at hearings on Beacon Hill, along with collaborating on various pieces of legislation relating to the automotive Industry. Molly is a member of the Women’s Industry Network, the Women’s Business Council, and Business Connections. She is the proud mother of two beautiful boys and enjoys letterboxing, reading, music, talk radio, and cooking.

Bob Barnes – Shop Manager

Bob came to Al Brodeur’s Auto Body in 1991. He joined us as a technician and took his role in the shop very seriously. He became licensed as a Massachusetts auto damage appraiser and began taking on more responsibility. Before long he stepped up to the position of shop manager. His good natured personality, kind demeanor and approachability make Bob a pleasure to work with – and our customers love him! He is a loving husband and father of two teenage daughters; he enjoys watching their sporting events, music, and helping family and friends.
